Merler Dennis Edge

Although I didn't know merler, I just wanted to tell the family and friends how sorry I am for the loss of your loved one. Please know that your family will be in my prayers. (John 11:1-44)

Dennis Edge was a sheepdog in our neighborhood of sheep, keeping an eye on everything and everyone and speaking up if something didn't look right. If someone had a problem or needed help he was there to do what was needed. He was the guy who pulled everybody together with a smile and a handshake. He was a good and kind man with a lot of common sense. He will always be remembered and deeply missed. We share your loss.

Mike and Ginger, we are deeply saddened to hear the news. I never met your dad, but believe I can understand what kind of man he was thru knowing Mike and the kind of man, friend, and colleague that he is. A great loss to all I am sure, and you have our deepest sympathies and prayers for both strength and peace today and in the days ahead.

Mr. Edge was my neighbor in Ridgewood Park and I am so thankful that the Lord allowed me to meet him 8 years ago. Mr. Edge ran the neighborhood...he knew all the gossip and what cars should and should not have been parked on the streets. He knew what time I was supposed to leave for work in the morning and if I was running late he would knock on my window and remind me. Mr. Edge had a way of keeping everyone in line around him.
