Not sure what to say?

Sorry I can't be at the service. I worked for Merlin for many years and respected both his business integrity and engineering skill. If any former Vari-Tech employees would like to meet for lunch or breakfast please let me know. David Snoek [email protected]

I have known Merlin for over four decades. He was a devoted Christian, a mentor, a wise counselor, a bountiful source of information and a outstanding role model. I was blessed to have him as my friend and he will be sorely missed. May God provide comfort, grace and strength upon the family.

June and John Rosier want to express our condolences. We knew Merlin and Velma during the 1980's when we were members at Oakview Reformed Church. John Rosier

Deepest condolences extended, May God sustain you at this time of such great loss. Psalms 94:19

I have such precious memories working at Merlin's VARITEC company, with its fun employees. The environment and the challenges were such that the work was my play. I can truthfully say that I can't remember a day that I didn't want to go to work. What a pleasure to work for such a man of integrity.

Merlin was a very warm hearted and kind cousin now in the comfort arms of heaven. We will always keep our memories of him close in heart and send our prayers of healing to his family.
Sincerely, Max and Jane Rhoades

My Dad, Ernie Robart died in 1968, but he spoke often of his friend, Merlin Applegate. I know Mr Applegate was a good man, because my Dad said so. What a legacy to leave!
