Not sure what to say?

So sorry for your loss. My mother was Frances Southers, her mother was Etta Clark Southers, I believe Etta and Merlin's mother were sisters. My mother spoke of Merlin and had pictures of him and her as children. I learned of his passing when my daughter told me she and her husband were planning a trip to New York and asked about him so I did an online search. I'm sorry I never had the opportunity to meet him, it sounds like he was an amazing man and had an amazing life!

What a joy it was to connect with he and Angela in early September at Wegmans. I am grateful Spirit aligned an opportunity to hug a man I have always admired and been inspired by. His Light loves on in all of you. Opening my Enneagram book and handling 2 pieces of his pottery I am privileged to have will forever prompt his graceful presence.

Angela and Family, no need for me to tell you that a beautiful spirit like Merlin is never really gone but with us stronger in spirit because now he can be everywhere with everyone.

So, so sad for us... probably just a new adventure for him.

We are so sorry for your loss. He was a great man, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Our prayers are with each one of you.

Merlin Dailey was a learned scholar who was eager to share his knowledge with anyone who had an interest. He was a guest speaker for me at the RMSC in the 1980s & gave an excellent lecture on Japanese wood-block prints. He was recognized as one of the leading experts in the world on that subject. May his soul rest in peace.
