I know that my dad, Dean Frandsen had much respect for Merlin. Merlin was good to him. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family.

Merlin was one of the great men of his time. The stories he told shall be retold for a lot of generations, but will never be told the way he could tell them. It has been a privilege to know him. He will be missed by us all. I give my sincere condolences to his family. May they find peace in knowing they owe everything they are to a man such as him.

You are in our prayers. We will remember the good times at the ranch.
