Not sure what to say?

Merlin & Saralee with great grandchildren Seth & Carley

Grandpa, thank you for all the great experiences you shared with us from blue berry picking at Mt. Baker to ice skating on Holleman's pond. I remember your wish to be a dentist and learning not to mention when I had a loose tooth as you always wanted to help pull any loose teeth you heard about. On the way to your service, I could not find my gum. I remember you would always say "here have a tick tack" and what should I find in the bottom of my purse but tick tacks :). I remember you...

Mr.Reeck was such a wonderful teacher. He had the ability to make learning fun. So many fond memories of those years. Then a few years later, what a surprise to discover his Sandy Point cabin was right next to my Aunt Evelyns. It was so special getting to know him as an adult.
He touched so many lives, and I know he will be greatly missed by those who loved him. May God bless each member of his family and grant them peace during this time of sorrow.

With fond...

My heart is so sad to hear about this. Thank you Kelly for posting this so that I was aware. Mr Reeck was also one of my favorite teachers. I would have never been able to enjoy this experience had it not been for a twist of fate. I was in another class, but there were to many kids, so I got transferred to his class. I was so relieved and I was able to be with my cousin. I recently was able to see him and his wife, as they shopped at my store in Bellingham. I was so amazed at how...

Mr Reek was a great teacher who helped me stay in line and loved to guide you without you really knowing it.... Thank you Merlin!!!!!

Mr. Reeck made learning and 6th grade a good time. He was one of the best! Middle school is not easy but he made it fun. Lots of good memories.May God bring your family comfort and peace.

May you rest in peace, Mr. Reeck (aka "Little Duffer") you were such a kind man and wonderful teacher! I have often thought about your unconventional (at the time) teaching style, encouraging us kids to "wittle" with your wood working tools, etc. I hope your family is comforted knowing you were so well loved as a teacher and as a human being. God speed

Mr Reeck was such a wonderful teacher!! He was so kind and funny! Me and Lisa (you know who you are) were teachers pet's that year. He made learning such a wonderful experience for so many of us. You were very loved Mr Reeck and you will be missed by many.

Mr. Reeck was the only teacher that ever swatted me and one of my very favorites. He could be very serious one moment and then he would have everyone laughing the next. I will always remember running into him in my adult years and enjoying his humor. Prayers to Sara and family.

Thank you to the Reeck family for sharing him as a teacher to our 2 girls in the 6th grade,a wonderful man.And for giving us the information for a family vacation place Babine Lake, B C, for the last 30 yrs a great place for family fun. Rest in Peace and prayers for the family as they lay him to rest.
