Not sure what to say?

I was a new 2nd Lt and the 2ACCS was my first duty assignment. Col Steven´s was my first operations officer. He took care of his people and his door was always open. I tired to remember that when I was assigned as an operations officer.

I´m sorry to hear that Steve is no longer with us. His passing brings back fond memories of when we were young and flying together in the 24th SRS, 6th SW at Eielson. Those were the good days.

A great Commander and a great human being. I served with Col. Stevens as his Senior Enlisted Advisor my last year before retiring and was amazed at his caring and knowledge of everything 55th! John Ogburn, CMS (Retired).

Wonderful gentleman to be associated with. Worked with him 73-77, 2ACCS. I offer my prayers to his family. May you rest in peace sir. God bless.

Col Stevens was my Ops Officer in the 2ACCS. I was ready to upgrade to become an Aircraft Commander and I did not want to go to fly RC-135s. He was able to get me an assignment to Kadena flying KC-135´s One of my favorite assignments. RIP boss and thank you for your support.

Thank you for your military service

Rest in peace, Colonel Stevens. You were the Commander, 2nd Airborne Command and Control Squadron when I flew "Looking Glass" missions. You will be remembered by all who knew you. My prayers for your soul and for all your loved ones.
