I was saddened to hear of Merlynn's passing. He was a wonderful person. I worked with him for many years. He coordinated IHI's asbestos consulting services for the LDS Church and I was his primary contact as the asbestos program manager for the Church. The Church relied on him for his expertise and deep knowledge of all things asbestos. I developed a personal friendship with him through our association. Merlynn is an amazing guy! He helped so many of us with neuroendocrine cancer. He would answer Char´s questions as she tried to decide her next step in treatment options. He always encouraged and gave us hope. He will be sorely missed. We were lucky to be able to do a few fun things with Merlynn and Laurie. Our love to her!
