This is a beautiful tribute to Merrilee. I am so sorry to hear about her passing. She was my CNA teacher at East and I loved her and her class. She made everyone feel at home in her classroom. She made the atmosphere fun and enjoyable. She was brilliant and I learned a lot from her. In fact, she helped me finalize my decision to go into nursing. My condolences to your family.

My sincere condolences and sympathy to each of you. I have known Merrilee and Mike through our daughter in law's parents, Howard and Deanne Francis. I know how much she is loved by each of her family and her missionaries. She will surely be missed by each of them.

I knew Merrilee from our days at East High School from 1958-1960.. I knew and grew up with Mike Preece from our childhood.. Theirs was a marriage that blessed the lives of thousands. Merrilee's ability to touch the lives of her special missionaries will live in their hearts for decades. My love and prayers go out to the Preece and Tanner families. Our association was brief in Samoa but we remember you both fondly. It is nice to know Merrilee's passing is but a comma in her life, not a period. May the Lord's comfort be with you as you remember the gracious woman she is.
