Not sure what to say?

I just found out about Merrill's passing. I worked with him in Newark, NJ for several months on an e-discovery matter around 2008 and later referred him immigration matters. He was a great guy with a huge heart. My condolences and love to his family.

Merrill, my email to you in January 2020 informing that we were traveling to US on vacation received no feedback and I was worried. As planned, we stayed in NYC only, except that we would have visited you if we had heard from you. With deep sorrow, I searched and found this news at our hotel room in NYC in late January 2020. You have no idea what the world has become after you left us. With the shadow of the looming epidemic of coronavirus, we travelled back home to Beijing at the beginning...

Best colleague ever, brought light and laughter every day. Loved to make the day fun with daily contests and jokes. Enjoyed a feast of mismatched foods all day long. Loved to help Spanish speakers, take anybody who asked to the airport at anytime. Wore used clothes so that he could donate more money to those in need. Was so proud of his parents, siblings, Lovely wife and daughters. You were true to your religion, your family, & your clients. You will be missed by many. You were truly...

What a wonderful life he led, we moved to New Jersey and found Merrill at volleyball. We became very acquainted, and there we saw his love for the Spanish community, the Spanish language, volleyball, and BYU's mens volleyball team. Merrill kept us up to date on all volleyball activities every week, he always made us laugh and smile. He always put the Lord first and would make sure that everyone played a fun & fair game with no swearing, modest clothing & a prayer to open the game. He will be...

With deepest Sympathy and love to his family. Merrill has helped me a lot in many of my legal battles for his advice, moral support, and mostly his testimony of the gospel. He has a way of finding light in the darkest circumstances. He will be missed greatly.

Living Spirit Dishgarden

What a genuine loving smiley picture of Merrill we're given today on the computer. Merrill, we loved you and we'll miss you, but we'll have a wonderful road to follow you on in the coming decade. Your beloved wife Cynthia made so many marvelous years for your family to share with the world. There were no barriers to hold back all the culture, Mormon heritage, and joy the Clark's brought into my family's world. Not to mention legal advise, Christmas cards with family photos, and sincere...
