Merryll Murphy Casse

Merryll was my half-sister. Time and circumstances did not permit us to see each other in person as often as we should have but every birthday and every Christmas we would call the other like clockwork and talk for an hour. We were close --- in that uniquely Murphy way. Only the Murphys can relate to that. Going to miss you Merryll---Love you! Dan

Merryll was one of my favorite aunts, one I spoke with by telephone every January after she had received my Christmas card. She would catch me up on her family, ask many questions about mine and help me fill in any blanks or errors I might have in the Manguno family tree. I felt very close to her, not least because her husband, Joe Casse, wasmy godfather. She will be sorely missed.

Merryll became my dear friend when I married her nephew in 2002, and we remained very close until she left us. Merryll was very special to me. I will miss her voice and her praying for me every night, as she did for everyone she loved. I know she is with the Lord now and is our guardian angel praying for us from up above.
