Tamagno, Mervyn "Merv" passed away unexpectedly January 1, 2013 at age 54. He is survived by his father, Walt Tamagno, siblings, Denise Drake, Jeff (Toni) Tamagno and Dan Tamagno, nieces and nephews, Paul (Sarah), Stephen and Andy Drake, Brittney and Jake Tamagno, great-niece and nephew Samantha and Walter Drake.
Merv has been greeted, in heaven, with open arms by his mother, Myrtle Tamagno and his loving grandparents.
He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Graveside Services will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 304 Magnolia Avenue, Petaluma on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family welcomes donations to SRJC Foundation-Trade Technology Scholarship Fund, 1501 Mendocino Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95401. I am shocked to have stumbled upon this terrible news about Merv only a few moments ago. It is 3:20 pm as I type this on 1/9 so you all are probably wrapping things up after the service today. My heart goes out to you all.

I hope that Merv can somehow know the positive ways he impacted other people's lives - I remember Merv in High School as a very, very kind person and was so saddened to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with Merv's family and may he rest in peace knowing he left a wonderful memory of himself in so many people's hearts.

Such a beautiful service & gathering for Merv. And indeed, such a very sad day to see my cousins Danny, Denise & Jeff with their families go thru this grief as I had saw when my Auntie Mert passed. My uncle Walt this is so difficult. Brittany's speech was so beautiful & this 16 year old niece did the utmost job. Jeff & Toni put on a delightful afternoon along with photo boards of memories.
