Not sure what to say?

I will miss you my doctor

Mervyn and I met when he first came to GR. He worked at Creston Clinic and we immediately became friends. He would stop over mist evening and share a meal and talk about Trinidad. We became closer than brother throughout the years we have both kept in touch regularly. He adopted my family as his own , prior to my parents transitioning he would visit and they would enjoy each other company always concerning about their health. He was truly one of the best men I have ever known on this...

As I read his obituary, everything aligns with my memories of him. He was a compassionate individual, and I gained so much knowledge working with him. He consistently demonstrated grace towards others. He would often say, "It's not always about money; sometimes you just have to help people!" Rest in peace, Dr. Smith. You have undoubtedly left an indelible mark on the world, and you will be missed.

My Uncle Mervyn I will miss him so much. He was always available to talk about everything and anything. He was my uncle and a great friend at the same time RIP

There are some whose presence seems like it will defy a time like this and always be here. Mervyn was a person like that. To his beloved family I express my condolences. In his memory and with his love keep striving to be well and do well. May God always bless you and keep you in the palm of his hands.

We were Dr. Smith's patients when he was at Michigan Fuller. Always quick to answer questions but later all of us ended up chatting with him seeing his outlook on various things after our check ups. You could talk to him about anything. He was the most understanding doctor we had ever met. Kept track of him when he left and discovered he continued his caring for people the rest of his live.
