All of us here at Klingenstein, Fields & Co. are mourning the loss of Merwin. He was a great friend of Fred Klingenstein and his wife Sharon. There were many things we didn't know about Mer meeting him as we did during these past years. There were wonderful qualities though that we appreciated so much - his smile was like sunshine, he knew how to have fun and was always incredibly kind.

Merwin was lovingly devoted to his family and friends, and kept us all sharp. His warmth and humor, and intensity, endeared him to all. Commuting with Merwin was a competitive sport, me against the crossword puzzle. I'm very sad to lose him, but feel privileged to have enjoyed his friendship. My love and condolences to all his family. I miss him.
