Not sure what to say?

I keep coming back to this page because I miss the conversations we used to have.
If he threw a high kick then I would duck and counter attack...If I threw a middle kick he would evade and counter attack.
He was what I considered best partner of the organization from '74 to '77.
Loved the way he showed me how the electronic overdrive in an MG worked on our way to JCC from the YMCA.
Loved the way he showed all of us that a front kick can be as powerful as a sliding side...

I knew Merwin and Kristi from Millwood Methodist Church. We had a group called The Brunch Bunch. We had many great times. I just looked them up to discover he has passed. A GREA LOSS.

I just recently learned of Merwin's passing. So sorry the hear the news. I graduated high school with him (then known as Mike). I spent many a summer hour with Mike and other friends tooling around Jackson MI in Mike's Model A looking for girls to impress. He bought that car for $150 when it was just a pile of miscellaneous parts in the corner of somebody's barn. The owner wasn't even sure everything was there but Mike took a chance, bought it, put it together and that Model A was his...

I knew Mike from Tae Kwon Do. He helped me mature as he was a little older. A man one could trust and was respected by all. Mike we will for sure miss you but we will not forget you.
You were and always will be a great and true friend. With His Blessing I hope to see you some day in the Dojang in Heaven.

I knew Merwin and he was a great friend and fellow Tae Kwon Doist. He helped me mature and understand life. He will be missed but never ever forgotten. A man who you could count on and know that his word was true.

I knew Mike from Taekwondo in Michigan. He was a very respectable and honorable man

Mike and I met at the Y-Center in Jackson MI in 1974. We were good friends and business colleagues. I'll miss his gentle soul, great smile with chuckle, and "John Wayne" walk.

I knew Merwin a little from just a few times of being out socially with he and Kristin, now more than a few years ago. Merwin was very accomplished in his years. But better than that, by my measure, he was was very easy to like. And I did. Very much.... Over time it has been a pleasure to consider the perfect match they have been for each other. Though mindful that a few words are a tough trade-off for extra years that could have been, again I remind myself of a few I carry and offer...
