Metta Tomlinson-Lansdale Jr.

Sincere condolences to Metta´s family. I have memories of her time in Ann Arbor as an active member of St. Andrew´s parish, with George and your children. Her exemplary leadership of the Chelsea Library lifted it to a higher level. RIP, Metta.

I remember Metta from her time in Ann Arbor. She was in the UMS Choral Union at the same time, I knew her from many library related conferences and activities over the years, and for a while, she lived down the street from me. I´m sorry to hear she has passed and she will be missed. My condolences to her family.

I remember running into Metta at the Street Sale a few years back, after she had retired from the library. She was shopping with her sisters and seemed genuinely happy. May she Rest In Peace. ~Rosie

Metta was my first boss at the library in Traverse City. She believed in me, helped me grow as professional, and was a great mentor. She made a difference and will be missed.
