GUTHRIE, Mia Elizabeth - Of Swartz Creek, age 20 months, died Friday, July 27, 2007 at Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G-3139 Hogarth Avenue in Flint, Father Robert Copeland officiating. Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family, Michigan School for the Deaf, or C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. Visitation 3-5 and 7-9PM Monday and 3-5 and 6-8PM Tuesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A Rosary will be prayed at 7PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mia will be at the church from 10:30AM Wednesday until the time of the Mass. Mia was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on November 15, 2005. She was the daughter of Ronald and Jennifer (Jenkins) Guthrie of Swartz Creek; sister of Mason; granddaugher of Richard and Pam Jenkins of Flint, Robert and wife Beverly Guthrie of Flushing and Darlene Guthrie of East Jordan, Michigan. She also leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Pediatric Care Unit at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
