Not sure what to say?

KNEW MICHAEL FROM THE CANCER SUPPORT GROUP AT UCONN. OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY GO OUT TO THE FAMILY.

If only thoughts could remotely describe ones feelings, it would be so much easier to share the depth and love we have for this wonderful, sincere, compassionate AND fun-loving friend. Blessed are all that have crossed his path.

Mike Aldi will be deeply missed by his colleagues in the community college system. He was a professional with high standards who gave us good humor and insight in meeting life's challenges.

I had the pleasure of working with Mike at Tunxis. I remember him as a refreshingly down-to-earth guy with a wicked sense of humor, and I'll miss our discussions of politics and of life in general. I could not admire more the courage with which he faced his fate.

I have many happy memories of Michael, Denise, Fallon & Aylssa when I worked as a lifeguard at Mattabasset.

Michael was always quick with a smile, and could brighten up your worst day.

I hope you all share your happy memories during this time of grief.

To my dear friends and their families, LouAnn and Roz, I know it has been a difficult year. I am sorry for the loss of Michael whom you loved so much. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love Nora

I hope this poem brings some comfort at this difficult time.

"Welcome Home"

I thank you for the love you each have shown, but now it is time I travel alone.
Do grieve a while for me if you must, then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It's only for a while that we must part, so keep our memories within your hearts.
I won't be far away, for life goes on. So if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be...

I may not have a chance to tell all members of the family my thoughts, so please accept this meager substitute. Michael was one of my favorite people from whom I learned so much. It was a honor to work with him for the short time we had. Not only did he make a tremendous difference at Tunxis through the work that he did on behalf of our students, he also impacted the lives of the staff through his work ethic, his intelligence, and his good humor. I am so grateful that our paths crossed and...
