Met and got to know Mike through youth b-ball coaching, our sons elementary school events, and playing adult b-ball on Sundays. A very good man who will be sorely missed. A class act on and off the court. My family extends its condolences and deepest sympathies to the Alekshun Family.

I too played basketball for a good number of years. Always the nicest person on and off the court. I remember when he told me he was going to get a camera and how proud he was of the images he had taken. My deepest sympathies go out to the entire family.

Mike was a great teammate and friend. I was lucky enough to catch up with Mike a couple years ago at our reunion. Like every great friend, no matter the distance and time that separates us, when you get a chance to get reacquainted you pick up right where you left off. Mike was in a great place, he loved his wife and his family. He was so happy and full of charisma. He had not changed a bit.
