Not sure what to say?

I think of Mike so often, and my heart is so sad that we didn't connect the last few years of his life., I was busy having kids and starting education for a new career. When I left Erie in 1998, we became old school pen pals and I still hold his letters dearly. These past 21 years flew by...

Dear Brother: I still think about you every day and every waking hour and sadly miss "MY BROTHER AND MY BEST FRIEND". I wish you would of came to me as you have always done in this time of need and i think things would of different. I hope you are happy and at peace now. It will take me a very long time to come to an understanding and peace over your death. I am very sad and miss you so very much and love you.
YOUR BROTHER STEVE

I, too, am at a distance and was unable to attend Mike's service. I am deeply sad about this whole thing, as are many. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that I learned a bit more about his loving siblings and various friends that I knew little about. It is apparent that Mike was deeply loved and from his family's postings, they are just as fabulously special as Mike. THAT is A Delight I can take from this; my heart is lightened to sense the positive natures of Mike's family and loving friends. Thanks to...

My prayers go to Michael's family. I think of you all many times and wonder how you all are. I was very saddened to finally get a bit of news and it turned out not good. I am so sorry for your loss.

There are so many special memories of the times we spent together over the years. I can't believe that he's gone.

I remember my last visit with Michael at Aunt Ethel's passing. He had the most positive attitude and the brightest smile. That's how we'll remember him.

Our family lifts you all in prayer and in our thoughts.

We love you all.

An opportunity to remember the things about Michael...or rather that we should never forget. Scenic Crest...we'd like to say we knew Chubs before he wore shoes; Troop and I actually thought he was one of ours; that kid sitting on the floor of the family room reading books and being too shy to stay for suppers. Later he rode one means of transportation or another, bikes, riding mowers, ice dunes on the hill and there was the Great Orange Pumpkin Volvo! He was always there to offer help, like...
