Michael Amato

I am deeply saddened to learn of Mike's passing. Mike was a wonderful person, and one of my very very earliest and longest-lasting guitar friends. We were in pre-algebra together in 9th grade, and became connected by our mutual love of guitar from that point on. Whenever I saw him, I always knew that he would be the same great person - the same fine human being - no matter how much time had passed. Mike and I shared some memorable times. I remember introducing him to My friend Glenn Schwarts- James Gang-. Mike many years later told me Glenn, playing at a street gig in Shaker; is what motivated him to become a great guitar player, in his own right. If you were one fortunate to know Mike, you were blessed. Bible says-" Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of the Lord"-Romans 10;17. I shared Jesus with Mike.

Mike was the the nurse for my brother for 6 years. Mike was a wonderful man and I know your hearts are broken. May he rest in peace and God bless your family.
