Kim and family, We are all heartbroken to hear about Mike's passing. It is hard to even imagine a summer without Mike. His positive outlook, sunny presence, and kind nature will be greatly missed. In the last decade of hosting your group, you have set a high standard for what family bonding can be and it was truly special to witness and experience. I send my love and sympathies to you all.

I have known Mike ever since I became part of the Alander family in 1970. Mary was close to her brother Ed & was always talking about his children. Mike was so very helpful and caring about Mary, constantly keeping in touch with her since she was on her own. He was truly the most caring, generous and selfless person I've met. Michael was one of my favorite clients and a friend as well. I always came away from any meeting with him feeling better and like the sun had shone on me a little brighter that day. My heart goes out to you Kim, and to your girls. Fond memories of Michael abound.
