So sad to hear of his passing. I guess the heartache of losing his son just weeks ago took its toll on his spirit. He really was an icon to this city and the neighborhood of Oakwood. I knew he was a veteran , but didnt know he was at Normandy and the Ardennes! I knew he worked , but The Garden and The United Nations! Never ever said a word of his accomplishments, so humble.
