Shared some old videos with family this week. Michael big smile was prominent and a good memory. Miss him.

I often think of the wonderful memories I had performing and touring with Mike and the Manitowoc Lakeshore Wind Ensemble---good memories indeed, from his friend, K Gus Gainacopulos Clarinet/Saxophonist

I have many fond memories over many years of interacting with Mike and the Lakeshore Wind Ensemble as their guest soloist on clarinet and saxophone. I did enjoy Mike's hard work with the ensemble, the wonderful ensemble members, and my many visits to Manitowoc, and of course the memorable "Russian" trip---His memory remains strong for those that knew him.

Mike was a wonderful colleague in UW Colleges Music dept. A wonderful French Horn Musician and friend to all. Totally wonderful man!

When I was a student of Mike's we were sort of contemporaries as I was an older student and already a professional musician. He was the nicest man and most dedicated professor. We had laughs and serious discussions about music. RIP Mike.
