I just learned of his passing. I worked with Mike at KOOL. He was a truly good guy and had a wonderful sense of humor. One good memory of Mike is when he threw a "Who Shot JR" (Ewing. Dallas.) party. It was a hoot! We all gathered around the TV in his home to watch that last show. Only Mike would think of having a party like that. The house was packed with KOOL folks. His passing truly saddens me.

Karen and family, our sincere condolences; my memories are of all of us cousins growing up in chicago and him always such a nice kid, even then. Many prayers sent for all of you.

I sure miss all the great newscasters from back when Mike was on Channel 10 years ago. They were so professional. I met Bill Close a couple times. People like him and Mike and all the rest of the gang were great to watch even if the news was not so good. Thanks for the memories.

May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this time of deep sorrow. Those who pass on, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. My sincerest condolences. (Psalms 116:15)
