Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to learn of Mike´s passing. He will be missed by many, but that´s just a small fraction of the lives he touched. I worked in the Division of the Budget with Mike for most of his storied career. As Budget Director, I relied on Mike for his sound advice, good counsel and, of course, for his remarkable good humor. Rest In Peace Mike.

We just learned of. Michael´s passing and we send our sincere condolences and prayers for your family !!! I went to Albany State with him and he sang in our wedding in 1974. We had many wonderful times together in the 70´s He was a terrific person and friend and his wonderful obituary says it all. Nancy (Broderick) and Arty Waugh

Single Memorial Tree

Michael was the consummate professional and a fine public servant. It was pleasure working with him. He also played a mean game of raquetball.

My deepest sympathies to the entire Attwell family. Mike was my fraternity father (STB) and friend during and after our college days. We reconnected a few years ago in Myrtle Beach. We reminisced about being in the Albany State infirmary with the flu in 1968, pizza at the Madison grill, the Ginger Man and a number of other events and people. Mike had aged well and was the same intelligent, sincere person I remembered. I will miss him.
