Not sure what to say?

I never met the man in person but we had a few good conversations via messages. He is a fellow brother in arms and served his counrty well. I was so looking forward to sharing some Army talk with him this summer. Our hearts and prayers goes out to family and friends.

Our family was blessed countles times by Mike and Cherie. Their love, integrity, and loyal friendship to my parents, (Jerry and Linda Mainus), are truly priceless.
Mike was the kind of person who drew you to him in a room. His smile, and hugs, and wonderful stories were always something to look forward to.
We will miss him, but we are so grateful to have known him. And he will never be forgotten.

Cherie- We love you! May the peace of the of Holy Spirit surround you always. ...

I am not the best with words, but here goes. Mike touched all of our lives with his loving and caring ways. He had so many interesting stories and was always willing to listen. I just wish I had met him sooner then I did, but I am grateful for the time that I did know him. I will always cherish the memories of the times we had together. Jim, Mary, Amanda and, Brooke.

I met Mike when I worked at the Kyle Carter Real Estate Re-sale office for Realtor Tammi Jo Johnson. I looked forward to his visits because he always had a joke or a funny story to tell. Mike always had a smile and a kind word for you no matter what. When he returned from his travels he would bring back gifts picked especially for you. (At least thats what he said!) One time he said he was going to bring us back some salt water taffy. You would think he would bring a box for everyone to...

Our hearts ache at the loss of such a kind man. Although Wayne and I had never met Mike in person, we feel privileged to have known him in our small way, and will always cherish the friendship we had with him online.
Occasionally, very special people walk into our lives, and I must say Mike was one of the good ones. Mike always had a great story, a wonderful sense of humor, a kind word and a compassionate ear. We have been truly blessed to have had him touch our lives, even for a short...

I have known and loved Mike for over 14 years. The one thing among many that I truly loved about Mike was that you always knew where you stood with him. He was honest and spoke from his heart he said it like it was even when you didn't want to here it but, you knew he was right. I often wish Mike were at the office just to hear his voice down the hall using that wonderful language of his--anyone who knew him knows what I am talking about.... I can picture him sitting at his desk eating the...

Cheri - our thoughts and prayers are with you.
