Michael Ron "Ronnie" Azoff

I was so sad to hear of the unexpected death of Ronnie. The Azoffs moved in next door to us when Ronnie and I were both five years old. It was apparent from the beginning that Ronnie was quite a character. Ronnie always had a sly grin, a scheme up his sleeve and a story to tell. It appears from the postings that I've read on various websites and a more recent photo that I saw that he thankfully hadn't changed much over the years. I was very sad to hear the news about Ronnie. As we were growing up, he was one of my best buddies. I think we played together just about every day---war, making tents, playing cards, riding bikes...and one very unfortunate incident with a BB gun that always makes me smile. I spent many hours at the Azoff house and fondly remember that Mrs. Azoff would make Ronnie a very thin hamburger (he was a little picky)whenever he wanted. My condolences to Barbara, Nick and Everet. My thoughts and prayers are with his family in this time of loss. Ron was a friend who I will miss.

I have fond memmories of Ronnie. He was an inthusiastic windsurfer, he is the reason I started to windsurf. Ronnie gave me my first windsurf board and assisted me in packing it up to ship off to Puerto Rico. It was massive and no small feet back then.
