Not sure what to say?

I just this day have learned this news and yes indeed, of all the building administrators I had worked with throughout my years in education Mike exemplified an honest and sincere interest in children and youth and I know those kids really appreciated Mike's presence in so many ways. I know I did.

To Chris and all of the Bacigalupi family we send our heartfelt sympathy.
It is a shock to hear of Mike's passing.
Please know you are in our prayers.

Mike made a special arrangement to have me teach math (advanced calculus) at Interlake High School in the morning before I continued in to work at Microsoft (for two years, 1991-3). He was very supportive. In fond remembrance, I offer my condolences.

I am so sorry to just now learn of Mike's passing. I was a counselor at Interlake High for two years in the early 1990's and he was the best principal I ever worked with. He was kind, funny, open minded and had a clear vision for the school. I grew so much professionally and personaly under his leadership. My family is flying to Seattle next week and we will all be praying for your family. I am blessed to have known Michael Bacigalupi.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Bacigalupi's passing. I was a student at Newport High School and he was my American Literature teacher in 1981 during my junior year. I really enjoyed him as a teacher because he was engaging and inspired us to ask more questions and to delve into the stories and retrieve the heart of the underlying messages. He seemed to love his calling. He helped me and many others appreciate american literature especially during a time in our young lives when distractions...

I was the school psychologist at Interlake High School from the mid-'80s to the early 90's and thus had the privilege of working with Mike when he was assistant principal there (along with Don Barnhart the principal, Sarah Phillips-assistant principal, Jane Akita-nurse, counselors Joe Underwood and Theresa Przkota, Marianne Bergstrom the Interlake Center supervisor, and many many other dedicated educators). Mike had such a wonderful spirit of fun, along with his commitment to do his very...

I had the pleasure of working with Mike as a fellow prinicpal for 14 years and was always impressed by his commitment to kids, his professionalism and his leadership abilities. I am so sorry for your loss.
