Not sure what to say?

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Bacon,

Although Mike and I grew apart over the years, I thought of him often. Some of my fondest childhood memories are the times I spent with Mike and his family. I will always cherish those times. Mike will truely be missed. My prayers are with you in your time of deep sorrow.

Dear Barb and Harry: So sorry to hear about your son. He certainly sounds like a wonderful, wonderful person. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I am currently in Rockford, IL with my daughter where I am having a few health problems. Again, my deepest sympathy. Bobbie

Dear Barb, Harry and Bob,
This was such a sad shock and I am still reeling. Mike touched my life in my first years of teaching and was such a bright spot. He always had a smile and was delightful. I knew he would reach for the stars when he was a fifth grader, and he sure proved that he could reach them. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and Andy too.

I worked with Michael for the past 3 years at RMT, although only had the opportunity in the last year or so to work with him on a specific project. Michael was a wonderful friend and mentor. He was always able to make the best of any situation and certainly had a positive outlook. He was patient and willing to help co-workers in any way possible. I have learned a lot from Michael in the relatively short time we worked together. I will especially miss his lively personality and his wit.

How easy they rest, those with smiles in their lives....
I didn't know Mike as an adult, but as a young man full of twinkle and shine. Knowing him then assures me that he left the world a better place and he will be missed. My heart goes to his parents, Barb and Harry, and to his family and friends. I am so sorry. Love, Sheree Glass

As a former high school English teacher of both Mike and his sister Andy, I have been saddened by his departure. I have fond memories of them both as I do their parents. Occasionally I still see Barb at SVSU and am pleased to know that the Bacon family touched and continue to touch so many people so positively. I remember both Mike and Andy as though it were yesterday. My heart goes out to the Bacon family.

I did not personally know Mr. Bacon, however am acquainted with many members of his loving and wonderful family. They are all in my prayers and condolences.

I was one of Mike's roommate at Michigan Tech. What I rememeber most of Mike was his zest for life. He loved to pull pranks and you always had to be on guard. He loved sports and loved to go toe to toe with the jocks in his house. This included wrestling, tackle snow football, ski jumping (but on cafeteria trays) and food fighting(if that is a sport). He loved having fun with people and I can't remember Mike without that huge smile on his face. After reading this notice and everything people...

When I first started at RMT a nice gentleman helped me with a problem I was having.
That person was Michael Bacon. He was always friendly and upbeat.
It was a pleasure knowing him in life.
