Not sure what to say?

My husband and I have fond memories of Mike both as friends at Steinmetz High School and after he returned from Viet Nam. At that time we were young married couples enjoying the best of the late 60s & early 70s . He was a fun loving young guy when we knew him and we hope he stayed that way. Our condolences to his family.

He was loved and respected by the many students who knew him at New Trier. He remains in our memory after many years of his passing.

Dear Janet, I am so sorry to read about Mike. Craig and I did alot of housework for you when you moved into your new house. He was a fantastic advisor and friend. I remember the four of us going to Eduardo's for pizza back in the late 70's. He made a big impact on many peoples lives. God Bless. Andy Janosek

Our son James Russell always though kindly of Mr. Baker at New Trier - he was the best teacher I ever had. He is still missed by many of his students.

Mike is thought of often and the family remain in our prayers.

Our son Jim Russell had Mike for a teacher at New Trier and always felt he guided him in many ways. He was a friend to the students and everyone respected Mike. Our thoughts and prayers are still with you.

Janet- I am so sorry for your loss. Years pass but we never forget those who touched us once - and Michael sure did that! My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Dear Janet and family, Michael was my business teacher at NTE. He gave me confidence, which I will always be thankful. A few years ago I saw Michael at GBS, and I was able to tell him this too. Nancy Hoag (Winnetka, IL)

Dear Janet: Has been many years since we have had any contact, ours was high school, But Michael and I went to Sunday School at Christ Lutheran when we were very young, and have some memories, and some very silly pranks we played, at our age not a lot we can recall, but they are fond memories. My heart goes out to you and family for your loss. Will keep you any your family in my prayers.
