Michael,
It is still hard for me to believe you are no longer with us. Each day that passes I know you are in heaven watching over Matthew and Mitchell. They will soon start a journey in life and it scares me. Mitchell will be going to ECU and Matthew is staying closer to home and going to Wake Tech. There is not a day that goes by, that I wish you were here to help them take these steps into life. When I was holding them back you would say "let them go" I need you to say let them go! I...

Michael,
We love you so very much.
We miss you so much. The pain and grief is unbearable.
You had such a tender and passionate heart. Number one, being your love for your sons, Matthew and Mitchell.
Every family get together reminds us of your absence. May God have His loving arms around you. May you be with our loved ones who have gone before you.
We look forward to the day we are all united and we can wrap our arms around you and tell you how much we love you.
Give our...

Michael, Though its been about a year since we lost you
I have chosen this day to honor you, as you were always
The King of Thanksgiving in our family. From your
Over indulgence of food, esp. your deviled eggs, and your
Pie eating contest (that you always won), to your stacks of
“take home” plates that you said were for Gil, (we all knew
better), to your inevitable heartburn by the end of the night.
You would lay on my couch, tums in hand, and in your face
Was a...

To Mike's family,
I knew Mike from the days back in the early 80's in west Raleigh. We all use to cruise around, hanging out at Jack Daniels grocery, West Raleigh baseball, Athens football games, just enjoying our teenage years with John Jay Eaddy(we miss you), Jeff O'Brien, Troy Mills, etc. Mike loved his Camaro & his Jeep. Mike always had a smile on his face. He was well liked by everyone. I also remember other good times like when the twins were born. I have so many good memories of...

Michael,
I remember the fun times that we had, all the way back to the Waycross Street days, trips to D.C. to visit Sissy, Ocean City, rock concerts, Wolfpack ball games, just to name a few. We'll miss you so much. Rest in peace, my brother, my friend. You're spirit lives on within us.
