I think I first met my cousin Mike when he was about 3 or 4 when I came to live with his family. I was in 6th grade. Mike came to visit us later in CA and was in my wedding in 1966 there. To Blaze's family and friends: I was a deejay and hung out at his show for years, he was a good friend, the funniest person I've ever known and a great artist. I think I speak for my WTUL friends when I say he influenced our lives greatly and for the better, made us laugh and enjoy life. Good vibrations and positive thoughts to everyone, Blaze was a wonderful human being.

"Blaze" thought differently, and challenged those around him to not only vacate their accepted norms during a conversation, but integrate an appreciation for life's absurdity, and potential for beauty, into their worldview. Realization of this man's chaotic profundity was often asynchronous, but never trivial.

Please know that so many others share your grief and are praying in behalf of the family for God to provide the needed comfort and support throught relatives and friends during this difficult time.
