Michael Bales

My heart goes out to Bill and Barb and the family. Mike will be missed and was a wonderful person.

Barb, Bill and the entire Bales Family,
I do not have the words to express to you my sorrow when I learned of Mike's passing. It was a delight to live down the street from you all those years and I was so happy when I learned Mike had become an officer. God Bless him and may God look after all of you as you make your way through your grief.

Do you know how challenging it would be for most police officers to be in the midst of hundreds of teenagers every day? Officer Bales took on this assignment and always kept his head about him. The students loved and respected him (we have all witnessed this). And Kirkwood parents were always a little more at ease knowing Mike was in our kids' corner. What a remarkable man! May he rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon him.

He was such a wonderful guy. I am glad to have met him. I am so sorry for his loss.

Mike was one of the kindest people we know. He touched so many peoples lives. Mikes wife Teri is a strong beautiful women who has stood by Mike through everything. We love you Teri and are so sorry for your loss. We will miss him so much. If you need anything, please call us. The Khalil family

Mike used to speak for our Health classes. The students loved him. He was funny, smart and knew how to connect with students and adults. I'm grateful I had the opportunity to know him.
