Not sure what to say?

I will never forget. Sending love to the family. <3

Hello, We realize that we are very late to express our deepest condolences, but we wanted to let your family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this month and several of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and hometown of Michael C. Balsley US Army Private 1st Class. We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by...

I go to this page somewhat quite often but this is my first post. I think about you daily and wonder how your life would have turned out.

Once in a while I take a drive down Victory Drive and think about the memories there. That street has changed but in a lot of ways, it's still the same.

Please take a special trip to Mom and tell her how much you love her. I'm sure she'd like that. God bless.

Mikey, I went by your memorial brick at the John Wayne birthplace on January 25 (2020) and left a small American flag and flower. On Memorial Day this year, I again placed a small flag and flower there. This year I am remembering both you and your daddy. I deeply appreciate your service to our country and your sacrifice to keep us free. With love, Mom Diane Balsley.

Michael I told your parents I would never forget what your family sacrificed. I told your mom my family would never forget who you were. You are the face my family sees when a hero is mentioned. Bev your no longer here but I will continue to remember for as long as I'm still on this earth. I'm glad you are all together now! I'm glad you all have peace.

Hey Mikey.

It's coming up on Thanksgiving (and soon, Christmas). I will be going to your stepbrother's house (Joel). I'm sure you remember him from the parties he used to have and the car club stuff (he drove the blue El Camino). I am missing your dad this year. I know you are with him and you two are bosom buddies again. Take care of each other. Love you lots. Give you dad a hug for me.

Diane

Mikey, your daddy went to be with you on Friday. Take good care of him. Now you two can be in heaven and continue your adventures together.
