So sorry to hear of Mikes passing, I knew him for 40 years, since he was one of my instructors at Case Western (Gund Hall), and kept in touch with him until now. He was just a likeable, down to earth and nice guy ! I know you will R.I.P. Mike Banta !

I am so saddened by Michael’s passing. I have known him since I was in my early 20’s. He was always kind, patient & a good friend. No matter how much time passed, it was like you could pick up where you left off.
What is most special about Michael is his love & devotion for his beloved daughters.
He is surely in Heaven.

I met Mike while working at the Justice center. He was such a nice man.
He always greeted me with the hello and a smile. I'm so sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace.

Mike was a dear friend of mine for a long time. He also ended up being my attorney. We met in our 20’s. He had the greatest laugh and was one of the kindest men I ever knew . I loved when he talked about his pet bird. He will be missed.

I am so sad that I am writing this. Michael was the sweetest man you will ever know. He was a friend and my lawyer who I will miss and especially miss talking too all the time. His stories will stay with me along with his laugh. I will see you again buddy, rest in peace and I got this because if you!!
