BARRETT, Michael – Of Burton, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at his home. 


Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, August 20, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Jim w. Willford. 


Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery. 


In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. 


Visitation 1-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. 


Michael was born in Flint, Michigan on March 10, 1947, the son of the late Robert and Louella Barrett. 


He was an avid hunter and fisherman. 


Mr. Barrett was a wrecker driver for Complete Towing. 


Surviving are significant other, Paula Barrett;

children, Michael Barrett and his family,
Rebecca Lechuga and her family,
Kevin Winters and his family,
Corey Winters and his family,
Charles (Amy) Fisher,
William (LeeAnn) Fisher,
Terri (Ron) Robinson,
Sheryl(Mark) Leist and
Dennis (Heidi) Fisher; 


12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren;


2 brothers, Patrick Barrett and Bobby Barrett. 


He was preceded in death by his brother, David Barrett and special friend Olen T. Cudd.

So sorry for your loss. My prayers are with all the family. All my love to each of you.

So sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Mike was my neighbor growing up in Flint. He was the oldest of Bob and Lou's 4 sons and always very kind to me, my parents and to my brothers and sister. My sympathies to his family and to his brothers Pat and Bobby.

So sorry to here of Mike's passing. Many fond memories of deer hunting with Mike and the gang in Vanderbilt. R.I.P.
