Dr. Bates was the best!! He helped deliver all 3 of my kids! He was always kind, thoughtful, respectful. We certainly had many laughs and shared jokes and funny stories. After his nurse Jamie-who I had several visits with- had passed away, him saying my name made him think of her! Sending much love and condolences to his family and many friends and colleagues.

Dr Bates was my dr for over 20 years. delivered my son. Boston. He was the most kind and best dr. Never had another i cared for. I´m so sorry for your loss. Great man to many i´m certain.

Dr. Bates delivered my daughter in 1977 after stepping in because my doctor was on vacation. I was his patient after that until he retired and my daughter was also. We both thought he was wonderful! So kind, understanding and so so nice.
