Michael Lane "Mickey" Batson

I´m in 100% agreement with the other Westlex employees who wrote of their appreciation of Mickey´s guidance and leadership. He was smart, thoughtful, insightful, kind and considerate. He had wonderful people perception. If he thought you did a good job he was very supportive. Best boss ever, and a really good person. Mickey Barton was a life changer. He carried himself with great posture, and it rubbed off on the entire organization. Westside Lexus was never quite the same after he stepped out. He exemplified excellence. Condolences to the family. Mickey won´t be forgotten.

My deepest sympathies to the Batson family on Mickey's passing. I feel fortunate to have called him my boss, mentor and friend. When I started in the "car business" I anticipated a short term stay until something else became available. How fortunate I was to work with Mickey and Jack! It made a impact, and I have stayed on at Westside 28 years.

I was saddened to learn of Mickey Batson´s passing. Mickey was a boss, mentor, and friend, and above all, a genuinely great person. He had a calm, steady presence, and his guidance and advice were always thoughtful, sincere, and grounded in integrity. He led quietly and by example, earning respect through who he was rather than what he said. He will be deeply missed. I am grateful for the time I had with him and for the impact he had on my life.
