Michael was born on June 21, 1985 and passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017. Michael was a resident of Vermont at the time of passing. Michael was a graduate of Poultney High School. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to the Rutland Humane Society at 739 Stevens Rd. Pittsford, VT 05763.

Betty...and close family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember when my sister used to babysit both Ricky, and Michael. She used to bring them both down to the house and let me take over the babysitting chores for a few; it was all super fun with many laughs from both Ricky & Michael. The last time I remember Mike he was probably 6-7 yr old. I had never heard his name again until these recent past events as I returned to VT. Again, so very sorry!!

My condolences to the family of Michael Battles. During such a grievous time words seem to be of little comfort. One way God helps us is by means of "the comfort of the holy spirit" Acts 9:31. My hope is that God will strengthen you and give you a measure of comfort and peace until His promise is realized.
