He was retelling a bunch of us the story when he used to get laid off during winter, he collected unemployment during them months. They made him do a sort of 'work search', even though he was returning to work in spring. He told the lady that he was looking at a job removing snow from roofs, that was fine with them. Next visit she asked how's that snow job doing?' all we could do is laugh as Mike was smiling away.. That was Mike, will miss him.

I met Mike forty years ago at the Wausau Country Club. He loved his work as well as his off time. Wether he was mowing roughs or shaking dice he always enjoyed the people around him. He was always operating at 100 %.He will be missed.
