Interment Newtown Cemetery, Newtown, Pa. Shiva will be observed Thursday, Saturday evening and Sunday at the late residence. I became Michaels twitter friend two years ago. He was such an inspiration . Although I never met him in person he made a huge impact on me as I was going through an awful time. Sadly I have also endured loss and understand first hand what you are experiencing.

Lorie, Rose and Megan I am so deeply saddened by your loss. Michaels diagnosis preceded mine by exactly a year and I have looked to him for guidance on moving forward with grace and purpose. His example has emboldened me to become an advocate for vaccination in my community even as I will eventually succumb. May his memory be a blessing.
