I graduated with Mike from NPHS way back Class of '56. Back then I was Patsy Hewgley. I don't remember if I had any classes with him, but I do remember always seeing a smile on his face--after reading his obituaries I am thinking he was thinking "I got away with that again!!" I met Mike when I started my wild ride at the Vallejo Fire Department, Fire Prevention Division. He was always a mentor to me, showing me the ropes of working with a great group of people. The world will be a bit less funny with Mike gone and he takes a bit of my heart with him. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, especially Cody, his beloved granddaughter, and her husband and kids.
