I met Dr Bernacki for the first time when he and is wonderful wife were at the storage center when they first moved here and they help my new grandson have a beautiful bedroom set fit for a king. I was given the privilage to work with Dr Bernacki though out the years he was at CMH. I will miss him. He leaves a hole that will be hard to fill. Many of us in the Dialysis community will miss his skill. Our thoughts and prayers to his wife and family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Dr. Michael Bernacki. He was an excellent surgeon and a wonderful person. He will be truly missed by his friends and staff members at CMHS. Although sadness has taken over know that he is in a better place and is at peace.

Mike Bernacki was one of my favorite colleagues going back to our days together in surgical residency in the 1980's. His enthusiam for life and work was contagious, he inspired the people around him to be the best they could be. All of us who knew Mike have fond memories of our unique experiences with him.

Dr Bernacki was a very special, caring and compassionate individual, who took caring for others to a whole new level. He took on surgical cases others would not because of lack of money.
