Mike was always so nice and really a really excellent bass player. I enjoyed knowing him and working with him at Nalli Music in Ann Arbor. We had fun supporting each other’s bands playing the circuit. RIP Mike. Sincerest condolences to his family.

I knew Mike from when we both worked at Nalli Music in the 90's...he was always a great spirit and we clicked right away because we were both bass players and huge Geddy Lee/Rush fans. Lost contact over the years and only recently reconnected and had a lot of back and forth remembrances/jokes and mutual Rush admirations...saddened to hear this and Condolences to all his friends and family.

Mike and I were in a band together for the majority of my high school days. Those days were a huge impact on my life, and I think of them often. I soon had to set my passion for music aside and join the Army, mainly because my dedication to the band caused me to get terrible grades. I lost track of Mike during the 7 years I was away, and I failed to try to reconnect with him upon my return. To one of my greatest friends, I love you and will miss you terribly. Fly high my friend, you won’t be forgotten.

Condolences to his family and friends, we worked together at ROUSH for many years and we both had Ford Galaxies. The last few years after ROUSH he would send me texts asking and telling me about his Galaxies and Galaxies he found. Defiantly going to miss those now. May you Rest In Peace Mike.

So glad Brad and I got to spend a few days with Mike in January at the car shows. We admired thousands of cool cars, stuffed our face with In & Out Burgers and laughed at how I wanted a car to blow my hair. You will be missed so much. We wish we had more time with you. Brad and Lisa Bertsch
