Michael Richard Bevan

Mr. Bevan was my grade 10 biology teacher at Lorne Park Secondary School in Mississauga, Ontario in the mid 1980s and we've stayed in touch ever since. I'll treasure his phone call from North Van to my home in Guelph this past spring out of the blue -- we had a great visit, and I suspected it might be our last. He was an inspirational teacher and person -- a privilege to know. Our warmest condolences to his loved ones.

My deepest condolences to the family of Mike Bevan. I had the pleasure of getting to know Mike in St. Lucia, and spent many memorable times with him at Banyan Lodge during the many stages of construction. He was truly an inspirational man...with a keen sense of humour and always ready with a delightful anecdote. He will be missed....but what a fulfilling life he led!
