My condolences for your loss. May your family find peace and comfort in knowing sickness, pain and death will one day be gone for this has been promised.

Dr. Michael M. Boardman was the last Tulane Professor who taught an English course I took there just before graduating. He was excellent at lecturing and working with his students, and I enjoyed his guidance. He was surprised at my describing Robinson Crusoe resembling the Prodigal Son in a paper.
