Mike was my dad's star music student at Joliet West HS. With a beautiful tenor voice, Mike played leads in Mr. Johnson's musicals - Lt Cable in South Pacific, Nanki Poo in the Mikado, and the high tenor of the school board quartet in The Music Man. I would hear Mike sing weekly at his voice lesson at our house. He was a great guy, and I learned a little about fishing from him too. I'm so sorry to hear that he passed.
