Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Bolus Family. Mr. Bolus was a great calculus teacher and certainly a highlight of high school. He also had extra time to provide the extra help to make sure his students were successful.

I am a former student of Mr. Bolus too. Like others have written, Mr. Bolus inspired me to become a high school Math teacher. He was a kind, caring, compassionate taecher. He never used degrading remarks, just positive and uplifting words would come from him. He always treated people the way he wanted to be treated. He would take the time to talk to his students as if they were each his best friend. He is without a doubt the best Math teacher I have ever known, but he taught us so much more...

Mr. Bolus had a true love of math, but more importantly his students. He was so patient with all of his students and really exemplified what it meant to be a teacher. I remember him with a smile :)!

This amazing man and outstanding educator was above all a wonderful humanitarian. He cared so much about the success of his students he always made himself available to help them understand. At the University of Akron he would arrive an hour before class and stay late to help those who needed it. His legacy lives on for generations in the lives and careers of thousands of students impacted by his excellence in teaching. He was also an exemplary family man - a loving husband, devoted...

My sympathies to the Bolus family. I remember Mr. Bolus as one of the most gentle and kind people I ever met at Field H.S. or anywhere else. He made Calculus fun and intelligible for me, so much so, i chose Math as my college major..... May God Bless your Family.

I offer my deepest sympathy to Kathy and family. Kathy often mentioned Mike in the most loving way during the years we taught together. I know that he was devoted to his family and his teaching. What an honor it must be to have had him as husband, father, grandfather , and teacher!

One of the real "teachers" I had in High School. He sincerely cared about his students and would do whatever it took to get you to learn. I have done well in life because of a handful of teachers like Mr. Bolus.

It was an honor to learn math from Mr. Bolus. He was one of the best teachers--of any subject--at Field. So thoughtful and compassionate. He will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

My deepest sympathies to the Bolus family. You're in my thoughts and prayers. May the God of all comfort be with you during this time of sorrow.
