My kids love you so much, and you loved and showed them unconditional love. I am one of Michaels many cousins. I am a few years older than him and I fondly remember visiting the Valley (Primera) and spending time with him when we were younger. He was a soft-spoken and extremely friendly person. As we got older and our lives scattered us around the state, whenever we would meet up it was always like we had never been away regardless of the gaps in time. Some of my fondest memories will always be from Primera when we would visit all of our tios, tias and cousins....

Michael was one of the good guys. Treated everyone he knew with respect and was a great friend. He will be missed.

Mike was one of the sweetest people I've ever met. He had a great way of welcoming folks and putting them at ease. It won't be the same without him. He'll truly be missed.

Michael, sitting here thinking about the day you were born. I was in the waiting room by myself ( your Dad was outside smoking a cigarette). Nurse came out and I had the honor of being the first in the Gonzalez Gang to see you.. You had a happy baby smile. I always bragged that I saw you first. As I write this my heart aches, but I know your love, kindness, caring ways gave to a straight ticket through the Pearly Gates. Rejoice my sweet Michael Lea. Till we meet again. Love, Aunt Sallie
