He is survived by his children, Makayla Turner, Melissa and Malakhi Bowles; four sisters, twin Margo Bowles (Mohamed) El-Moctar, Nancy and Michelle Johnson (John) Neal, and Daneisha Bowles; two brothers, Ervin Meeks and Marquis Bowles; two uncles, Rev. Pernell Johnson (Lisa) and Alfred Johnson; a host of great-aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends, devoted fiance, Ayanna Jeter. Remains rest at Chiles Funeral Home, 2100 Fairmount Ave. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, 12 noon at Sharon Baptist Church, 22 E. Leigh St. Rev. Dr. Paul A. Coles, pastor. Rev. Pernell Johnson, eulogist. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Remains will rest in church one hour prior to service.
